Import Guide 2026-07-07

Before payment

Before paying any deposit, the buyer should receive the quote, PI, platform escrow contract, vehicle identity details, VIN or masked VIN, stock ID, inspection summary, risk disclosure and destination-specific import reminders. Missing or inconsistent vehicle identity information is a reason to pause the order.

Before export declaration

Before export declaration, the exporter should prepare the used-car export license, commercial invoice, packing list, vehicle registration or deregistration materials, inspection report and any manufacturer after-sales confirmation required by the 180-day rule. EV shipments may also require battery documents such as UN38.3 and MSDS.

After loading and destination clearance

After loading, the buyer should receive loading photos, B/L draft or original/telex release instruction, final commercial invoice, packing list and shipment tracking. Destination clearance may require additional local documents such as import permit, PVoC/CoC, tax PIN, agent authorization or local registration documents.
